I am 64 years old, 18 year breast cancer survivor (though i prefer warrior as it is always a battle), and had a total hysterectomy 1 year after my mastectomy due to cancer med side effects. At age 46 I was in overnight menopause and it was horrible. I have suffered in silence for 17 years with insomnia, fatigue, depression, and intimacy/labido issues. My medical was so focused on the cancer that no one paid attention to the woman behind the surgical scars and how she was feeling. After a while, i just figured this is how it's going to be.
